On March 6, 2014, the Probation Office of Riscani District attended the working session entitled "Health and development of young people: priority issues in the process of maturing," held within the Youth Friendly Health Centre “Neovita”.
The purpose of the meeting was to establish an efficient cooperation mechanism to facilitate health improvement, harmonious development and effective integration into society for all, especially of young people in the vulnerability and risk state.
The participants at the meeting discussed about a mechanism for effective collaboration and planning the future activities such as:
- strengthening the intersectional collaboration in the implementation of sustainable health promotion programs;
- YFHC "Neovita" in the near future aims to build some national teams of trainers in order to enhance the professional skills of probation counselors working with juveniles and young people in need or at risk;
- identifying the expectations and needs of juveniles in the probation office records and to contribute to solving them through their guidance to the services provided by Youth Friendly Youth Friendly Health Center, promoting their participation in social life and nurturing human relationships.
We remind that on 25th April 2013, a collaboration agreement was signed between the Probation Office and Youth Friendly Health Centre "Neovita". The purposes of this collaboration are to improve the adolescent health and youth and safe environment training development.
