Informative educational activity conducted by the Probation Office of Ungheni together with the Child Safety Bureau entitled "Juvenile delinquency, causes and prevention"

On April 7, 2014, was held an informative session to students of VII and IX classes of the "Zagarancea" Gymnasium of Ungheni district entitled "Juvenile delinquency, causes and prevention." This activity was attended by the Inspector of the Child Safety Bureau, the Probation Office and the legal expert of Zagarancea village within the project "Legal Ability of Rural Communities" implemented by the "Soros".

The activity had informative-preventive character, participating pupils being informed on environmental influence on them, the ways of attracting children in criminal activity as well as the causes favoring the increase of crime among children.

During the meeting, Irina SISCANU, head of the Probation Office of Ungheni mentioned the consequences of juvenile delinquency, juvenile punishments and guided the pupils in preventing criminal behavior.

At the end of the activity were distributed leaflets with advice on preventing delinquent behavior of children in school and society.

We note that the purpose of the meeting was to reduce the offences committed by the younger generation with the participation of juveniles.
