On May 27 2014, the Probation Office of Basarabeasca, in cooperation with the Police Inspectorate, has organized some activities in order to prevent and combat domestic violence among juveniles. This activity was attended by the pupils of the VI, VII, VIII and XI classes of the "Stefan cel Mare" High School from Carabetovca village.
This activity had a preventive educational character, participating pupils being informed of environmental influence on them, the ways to attract children in delinquent activities and the causes favouring the increase in crime among children. During the meeting the head of the probation office of Basarabeasca, Ms Tamara BUCIATCHI mentioned the consequences of juvenile delinquency and juvenile punishments and prevented the pupils on criminal behaviour.
The representative of the Police Inspectorate, Mr Michael COSTIUC spoke about the police powers and diminishing of violence in the schools, on the street and even in the society, how to behave and how to prevent situations of violence victimization within schools. At the same time he mentioned how to spend safe the summer holidays.
At the end of the activity, Mr Mihai COSTIUC, advised children to respect the road rules. Pupils were presented causes of the serious road events and recommendations of not reaching victims. Also there have been distributed informative materials entitled "On vacation choose security."
