Throughout the summer season, the Probation Office of Soldanesti in collaboration with the Police Inspectorate had carried out informative educational activities within the summer camp "Dumbrava". The event was attended by the representative of the Police Inspectorate, Ludmila ODOBESCU, social worker of the Department of Social Assistance and Family Protection, Olga MELNICIUC, representative of Youth Health Centre "Speranta", Maria CLIPA, and the director of "Dumbrava" camp, Tatiana DODITA.
During these lessons, Ludmila ODOBESCU informed the children about the rules of conduct, traffic and security, as well as rules for fire fighting and prevention of drowning. Also, Ludmila ODOBESCU referred to the risks that children may be exposed during the summer holidays and gave them some recommendations to avoid these situations.
In its turn, Maria CLIPA informed the children about the risks that the drug users are exposed to and the consequences of drug addiction. The probation counsellors explained them the behavioural rules, security measures and arrangements solving problems they may face in the online space.
The actions performed by the probation counsellors can be characterized as a series of positive informative - prophylactic measures to ensure youth safety.
At the end of the activities, the children were distributed leaflets with useful information.
