Joint meeting of the representatives of the Probation Office of Buiucani with the Republican Narcological Dispensary

On October 21^st, 2014, the Probation Office of Buiucani held a working session with the Republican Narcological Dispensary (RND) entitled "Re-socialisation of the persons consuming toxic substances, convicted to suspension of sentence. The partnership between the Probation Office of Buiucani and the Republican Narcological Dispensary" being signed a collaboration agreement between them.

The working session was attended by the CEO of the RND, Mihail OPREA, the representative of the legal service of the RND, Sergiu VASILACHI, the head of the Probation Office of Buiucani, Chisinau, Svetlana PASKALOV, and the probation counsellors of the Probation Office of Buiucani, Oleg ZAMSA and Tatiana MUSCALI.

During the meeting were discussed the efficiency of the enforcement of the bond to pursue the treatment in case of alcoholism, drug addiction, toxicomania.

Mihail OPREA pointed out the importance of involving of the Probation Office in reducing the alcohol and drug because, “only through joint efforts we can help to develop a healthy society. The sentenced persons who are at the evidence of the probation office of Buiucani and who show the desire to treat from alcohol or drug addiction should receive a treatment.”

At the end of the meeting it was agreed to continue the cooperation in order to combat the phenomenon of harmful substances, and to conduct to the future thematic prevention lessons, on the conditional risks to the persons subjected to probation.
