On the 3rd of December 2014, the chief of the Probation Office Basarabeasca - Tamara BUCIATCHI, jointly with the Director of Youth Friendly Health Centre in Basarabeasca - Oxana CAZACU, conducted a lesson for informative purposes within the High School "A.S Puskin" entitled "Preventing and combating the domestic violence within family and juveniles" and "Promoting of the healthy lifestyles for young people."
This activity was attended by 42 pupils of the VIIIth and XIth class, being informed by Tamara BUCIATCHI about the personal safety, violence between colleagues and family violence, the consequences of aggressive behaviour and the age of criminal liability. It was also discussed about the types of violence, the responsible institutions for preventing and combating violence, about protective measures applied to the victim and the bonds applied to the aggressor, as well as the fact that children are often affected by the economic, social and family issues, being often exposed to the threat to commit reckless deeds and in result being punished at an early age with imprisonment.
Oxana CAZACU told about the importance of a healthy living and fostering of a responsible behaviour among adolescents and young people. “Youth Friendly Health Centre is accessible to young people, meets their needs completely and respects their privacy and confidentiality, providing them the highest quality services through a well-trained staff in the principles of providing such services."
These preventive actions by organizing lectures in educational institutions are effective only if it comes at the right time, offering to adolescents educational models, positive and realistic.
It is worth mentioning that, on the 6th of June 2014 was signed a cooperation agreement between the Probation Office of Basarabeasca and Youth Friendly Health Centre. The establishment of this collaboration is to improve the adolescent health, youth and safe training environment for the development of the adolescents and youth.
