On the 16th of December 2014, the probation counselor from Buiucani, Alina MUSET, jointly with the probation counselor from Botanica, Olimpia ROTARI, carried out the program “Prevention of the juveniles’ violence”". This activity was attended by 4 beneficiaries at the evidence of the probation bureaus of Botanica and Buiucani. The program aims to increase awareness, prevention of juvenile delinquency and promoting the pro-social lifestyle.
During the meeting, through an open and honesty communication, respect and understanding of the problems faced by beneficiaries, the probation counselors have discussed through exercises and games the meaning of violence, forms of violence and violent behavior patterns that formed as the basis to the main questions of the beneficiaries. Why some juveniles often turned to violent behavior? How do we explain the violence ?
The counselors told to the beneficiaries about the victimization of the juveniles, which is the segment of crime prevention that needs a special attention, given that young people could easily fall into the trap of crime, especially due to their age and desire to taste something new at every step. Nonetheless, due to the reduced capacity to sense danger, young people can easily become victims of the criminals.
At the end of the activity, the responsible counselors for running the program consider the program a progress for reducing the violence in their behavior.
