On 13th February 2015, was signed the collaboration agreement between the Probation Office Ocnita and the "Demos" Association.
The agreement aims to reduce the risk of relapse of the individuals who committed crimes, by integrating them into society. The signed cooperation agreement aimed at providing social assistance (social situation assessment - identifying needs, individual and group counselling, information on community services, support the young people in the socio-professional integration, assistance in finding a place to live), psychological support (pedagogical counselling to adapt the beneficiaries to living and working place, psychological counselling to overcome the crisis), unique material aid to pay rent, utilities and to purchase essential goods.
Under the agreement, the Probation Office Ocnita took the obligation to participate in the achievement activities regarding the socio-professional integration of the beneficiaries, to support and participate in activities of common interest that should be made and to facilitate contacts with community resources from territory for the exchange of information for the social service development.
It was also held a meeting with the representatives of the "Demos" Association, attended by two beneficiaries of Probation Office in which they discussed the needs faced and the possible ways of solving them. After working with "Demos" Association were opened bank accounts on the names of three probation office beneficiaries for further granting of aid materials.
