The Probation Office Straseni jointly with the Centre for Rehabilitation and Support for Children and Youth with Mental and Physical Disabilities "Paradise" provided humanitarian aid for five convicts at the probation evidence which come from socially vulnerable families. The Centre provided them with food stuffs, clothing and toys for eight children of the beneficiaries.
This humanitarian action was held to promote the social reintegration of persons in conflict with the law, with the intervention of the various services and providing different benefits depending on the problems and necessities, which by their own efforts and resources are not able to improve their socially vulnerable situation. The probation subjects were grateful to the counsellors and Rehabilitation Centre for moral support and for the essentials needs provided for themselves and their families.
The president of the Rehabilitation Centre, Jana VASILIEV said that these people will be taken in the viewfinder in order to be able to benefit in the future from the services provided by the Centre and that will be involved other probation subjects that are in difficulty situations.
Please note that on 19th February 2015 was signed the cooperation agreement between the Probation Office Straseni and the Centre for Rehabilitation and Support for Children and Youth with Mental and Physical Disabilities "Paradise", whose main objectives are the following: development of the capacity and socialization activities to reintegrate the children and adults with disabilities in conflict with the criminal law within the society in order to strengthen the community safety, prevention of committing new crimes and providing humanitarian aid if possible.
