On 5th March 2015, was held a jointed working session between the probation counsellors and the officers from the Police Inspectorate of Drochia. The session was organized within the Police Inspectorate.
The meeting aimed to establish and improve the cooperation relations, organization of jointed actions in preventing the risk of committing further offenses by the persons at the evidence of the Probation Office, the supervision of the persons at the evidence who have bonds imposed by the court, as well as addressing issues arising from the execution of criminal sentences.
The event was attended by the probation counsellors - Aurica TAMAZLICARI and Lilia POSTOVAN, the Deputy Head of Public Security Section - Vadim POSTOVAN, and the officers of the Police Inspectorate.
During the meeting were discussed the objectives set out in the Cooperation Agreement between the Probation Office and the General Police Inspectorate, including: mutual cooperation between the bodies and jointly activities nominated for uniform achieving of the policies, strategies, plans and programs in the field of the prevention of recidivism and social reintegration of persons in conflict with the law.
Also, the participants emphasized the difficulties and problems encountered by the PO and PI during the execution of criminal sentences by the persons in conflict with the criminal law. There have also been established the methods of cooperation in the future in order to prevent the risk of committing new crimes or misdemeanours.
Also please note that, on 9th December 2014, was signed the cooperation agreement between the Probation Office and the General Inspectorate of Police. The agreement has been concluded in order to improve probation and police activity for correction, rehabilitation and prevention of committing new offenses by the persons in conflict with the criminal law.
