On 18th March 2015, the Probation Office Balti organized an activity on "I will not be a probation subject" within the No.1 Professional School, Balti municipality, attended by 31 students from the first two years of studies.
The undertaken activity aimed to prevent and reduce violence in schools through specific activities by age and awareness of human relationships based on understanding and acceptance.
During the activity were enumerated the factors that generate crime, the negative impact caused by excessive consumption of alcoholic drinks, the use of narcotics and inefficient organization of free time. The pupils received information about the activity of the Youth Municipal Centre "Făclia", where they can get free consulting from a psychologist and participating in various fun activities.
The activity was organized with open discussion so that a harmonious atmosphere was created that allowed pupils to express their own opinion, ask questions and listen to the experiences of the colleagues.
The probation counsellors spoke about the need to know and respect the criminal law, as well as combating and preventing crime among juveniles and young people. During the meeting, the pupils were informed about: the activity of the Probation Service, who are the probation subjects, the frequent problems of the juveniles in conflict with the criminal law and what they should know not to become a probation subject.
