The counsellors from the Probation Office jointly with the representatives of the Child Safety Bureau of the Police Inspectorate from Hancesti held on April 24th, 2015 within the "Mihai Eminescu" High School informative lessons on " Juvenile Probation - What should I do to not be a probation subject."
The purpose of these lessons was to increase the awareness of the pupils on preventing juvenile delinquency.
The informative activities were conducted with the pupils of VIIIth and IXth class, during which were presented information on juvenile delinquency, legal provisions on criminal liability and the penalties applied to juveniles who break the law but are not criminally responsible, the management of conflict situations, the legal, psychological and social consequences of committing illegal acts and the institutions that can be addressed for support in solving problems appeared in school, society or in family. Also were mentioned the most actual crimes committed by the juveniles: theft, robbery, domestic violence, rape, etc. The informative lessons were carried out to help, guide and prevent the violence among juveniles.
The pupils showed interest to the discussed topic, asked questions, discussed various issues and at the end of the discussions said that they are better informed, that they understand the importance of some issues that until now they have not known.
At the end of the activity, the pupils watched a video on preventing the juvenile delinquency given by the representatives of the Child Safety Bureau.
