Activity conducted by the Probation Office Edinet

In order to prevent juvenile delinquency, the probation counsellor from the Probation Office Edinet conducted on February 29^th, 2016, within the gymnasium "Vasile Stroescu" an informative lesson entitled "Communication. Risk of communication. Influence from peers".

During the activity, pupils of IX^th class – jointly with tutors were informed about the risk of violence in schools, the factors that trigger or maintain violent behaviors, influence from peers, problems arising from communication with teenagers, drug use and their consequences, the causes of committing antisocial act, such as: supervision by parents, lack of links between family and school.

Cristea Inga – counsellor of the Probation Office Edinet reported that "During the formation of the personality of a teenager, the peers group is not only a refuge, as well as an important way of meeting social needs. Communication with peers group influence both positive and negative thoughts, feelings and actions of a teenager."

The activity organized an interactive character, so pupils showed interest to participate in future similar events.
