On 14th May 2015, the Probation Office Ceadar Lunga held an informative lesson entitled "Informed - means protected" - for the pupils from the Lyceum of the Baurci village. The activity was attended by 68 pupils of the IXth classes.
During the meeting, the children were informed about the notion of "juvenile delinquency", the legal provisions regarding criminal responsibility of minors and were given suggestions to prevent their involvement in various crimes. It was recommended to avoid circumstances that could lead to committing antisocial act, to choose with care spending time with friends and share their interests, and in cases of unpleasant situations, to not apply verbal or physical aggression.
Particular attention was paid to the negative effects of alcohol, drugs and psychoactive plants, which are often used by young people as means of fun and leisure, which will subsequently lead to addiction. In this context, were distributed informative preventive materials.
There were also held discussions involving pupils, thus favoring a better understanding of the problems faced by the adolescents and was proposed to identify appropriate solutions in order to effectively manage the conflict situations and prevent the juvenile delinquency.
