On 18th June 2015, the counselors of the Probation Office Riscani toghether with the probation subjects joined the World Blood Donor Day campaign entitled "Safe blood for saving mothers” in order to increase awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation act and drawing attention of people on this important area of ​​public health by emphasizing the vital role of blood products transfusions in saving lives and improve the health of their mothers. During the decade of blood donation, the main purpose was involving the probation subjects to realize the importance of the contribution of each individual in saving a human life.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Health jointly with the National and Regional Blood Transfusion Centre in partnership with local public administrations, state and public organizations.
