On 12th February, was signed the Cooperation Agreement between Probation Office Floresti and the Territorial Agency for Employment, with the aim of integrating the probation subjects in society, providing information on job vacancies and the employment.
During the meeting, Ludmila Grosul – the head of the Probation Office Floresti and Irina Gusac – head of the Territorial Agency for Employment stressed the interest of both institutions to establish, as soon as possible, the goals and objectives for the future. The agreement presumes the development of cooperation relationships between the Parties in order to achieve common measures and prevent the risk of relapse as well as to assist in developing skills to reintegrate into society.
The Territorial Agency for Employment Floresti oblige oneself to register as unemployed persons, those released from detention and those sentenced with conditionally suspended sentence, to contribute to their employment in the work field, to provide information services and professional counselling, to participate in carrying out active measures organized by the Agency, and other.
Irina Gusac said that "the present agreement will facilitate the collaboration between the both institutions, as well as active involvement in various activities of the probation subjects."
Also, at the end of the meeting, it was discussed the situation of one beneficiary, who recently addressed to the Probation Office in order to conclude a contract on psycho-social assistance in support of the persons released from detention, seeking for employment. In order to mediate this case, the head of the Territorial Agency for Employment explained to the beneficiary, in details, the registration process and how to obtain the unemployment status as well as the possibility of employment and financial assistance from the side of the Agency.
