Roundtable: "The execution of criminal punishment in the form of community service- problems and solutions"

On 12 May 2016, the counselors of the Probation Bureau Vulcanesti organized a roundtable on "The execution of criminal punishment in the form of community service - problems and solutions" with the participation of the City Hall.

During the meeting, the discussions were focused on the possibility of improving the inter-institutional communication and collaboration to unite efforts, to organize joint activities and to increase the impact of the activities on the execution of punishment in the form of community service by the probation subjects, the risks that may arise in the execution of punishment, their prevention and solving . Participants received information on the legal framework, the role of the public local authorities, the training in the field of safety and health at work, place of performance, workload and supervision of the convict. The representatives of the City Hall provided a list of social places  and workload for probation subjects that will serve the community service.

In conclusion, we can say that the participants were familiar with the eventual problems, they were able to establish contacts for a fruitful collaboration to achieve a successful implementation and enforcement of the community service.
