Children from the rest camp "Miorita" visited by the counselors of the Probation Bureau Orhei

On 22 June, current, counsellors from the Probation Bureau Orhei have developed an informative- educative lesson entitled "Probation subjects, purpose and importance of the probation service, the consequences of the antisocial behavior" that was aimed at preventing juvenile delinquency, reducing violence and victimization of minors.

About 70 children were informed about the work and role of the probation counselor, term "juvenile delinquency", the legal provisions and the responsibility of the minor, the age of criminal liability, risks of the violent behavior.

The activity was conducted in the form of the interactive discussions with minors, they are invited to express their views on the issues raised. At the same time, probation counselors have proposed several models of conflict, to which they gave their opinion, being very receptive, especially because it is their safety and all are interested in preventing the unpleasant situations.

At the end of the service, probation counselors have guided the children to avoid circumstances that could result in a situation to commit an antisocial act, to choose carefully their friends, to avoid any form of violence.

We note that by carrying out these activities, probation counselors point the achievement of an anti-victim and anti- criminal education against children and help to develop and enhance the knowledge of children on probation.
